Apartment Alban

The apartment is peaceful and has a well-stocked kitchen. There’s a double bed, TV, and wardrobe in both the bedroom and living room. We were greeted very warmly, and a shopping center is roughly a kilometer away.

It’s an easy walk to a bakery with proper Berlin rolls and a supermarket. Marienfelde S-Bahn is about 1 km away, so getting into the city center is quick. We found the room bright, roomy, and really pleasant. It felt more like a small flat than just an apartment, with a usable kitchen that has what you need and a clean, fully equipped bathroom. We were there as a couple, though it would work well for children too. The small garden is a lovely place to sit when the weather’s good, and there’s a sandbox for kids. Parking is on the street in front of the house. Roadwork was happening while we were there, but the landlord worked out a good solution. He also left useful ideas for excursions and activities in the room, and was happy to offer advice. We got a friendly welcome and picking up the keys was simple. We’d be glad to return.

Good value, clean and neat, and it has what you need. A cozy apartment. We’d happily stay again.

There’s a bathtub, although it can only really be used for showering. The attic apartment is a good size, but getting up there means using the stairs. The landlord is very nice and lives in the same building.
