ARCADIA Hotel Berlin

The price was reasonable and the location is great. Samariterstraße underground station is close, with good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel was fairly expensive, so nearby restaurants and bakeries might be worth checking for breakfast.

The cleaning staff were nice, though the welcome at reception wasn't especially warm. To be fair, it was late. The toilet could use renovation, but it was clean. Good value, with a convenient location, the metro a few minutes' walk away, and lots of small shops nearby.

My wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary here. It's a lovely hotel, and getting around was really easy. The staff were very helpful. The main drawback was having no air conditioning in the rooms. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

The rooms were quite large, and ours had a balcony overlooking the square. There's a supermarket at the end of the street, plenty of restaurants nearby, and the German one on the square is worth trying. The underground and train stations are close, so most places are easy to reach. I would have rated it higher if the airport taxi we'd booked the night before had shown up. The staff weren't helpful at all, so we took the train and missed our flight.
