The beds were very comfortable, and the bedroom was quiet. It's a distinctive, lovely place in a great spot, close to shops, the U-Bahn, and restaurants.

The apartment is cute, with a slightly unusual look, shabby chic furniture, and a few vintage pieces. It has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a French bed, plus another double bed in the living room, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. It's more than adequate for a short stay, and the owners are helpful and responsive. Getting around is easy: it's 5 minutes by public transport from central Berlin, with a bus 2 minutes away and the subway 10 minutes away. My only complaint is the shower curtain. I'd replace it with a shower stall, which would be more comfortable and clean and stop water from flooding the bathroom.

We arrived at 11 p.m. to find the apartment hadn't been cleaned. It took a long time to reach the owner, who didn't answer the phone. Eventually, he showed us where the clean sheets were, so we changed them ourselves. They came to clean the place the next day, but even after we told them several times that the TV wasn't working, it stayed broken for the whole week. We booked through Airbnb, expecting that if something like this happened, they'd find us somewhere else to stay. They contacted the property, but we had to look for another place ourselves, and no refund was guaranteed. The service was lacking. Quite an experience.
