Holiday Inn Berlin City Center East Prenzlauer Berg by IHG

The room was clean and big, and the tram stops right at the hotel. It's very central and seems geared more toward business stays, though leisure guests can stay too. You hear every noise clearly. There's no minibar, coffee capsule machine in the room, or slippers. Breakfast felt like it used the cheapest products. The Asian girl at reception was the most unfriendly person in the world, and she wasn't helpful.

I've always found Holiday Inn dependable, and this one kept up that consistent quality. The rooms were clean, staff courteous, and breakfast was great. My family came to see me in my room every day and staff never made an issue of it. They did sometimes get the towel count and shampoo refills wrong, which was a little disappointing, but they sorted it promptly when I asked. I'd definitely come back.

We had a quiet, dark room and slept really well. It was clean, organized, and in great condition, and the staff were very friendly. There's a bar and lounge on site, with shops, restaurants, and little stores all within walking distance. We'd flown in from Tampa, Florida, for our first time in Berlin, and found this Holiday Inn through the IHG app. We took the S8 from the airport to Prenzlauer Allee, then had a short walk to the hotel. At 11 p.m. we went out for street food and felt safe. Staff suggested places that were still open. We stayed two nights and I'd recommend it.

The tram stop is right outside, with easy connections into the centre from Zone B. The room was a good size, the shower was great, and breakfast was a feast. There are some great bars just down the road. Definitely recommend.
