Hotel Ludwig van Beethoven

The free parking behind the hotel is first come, first served. If you get a space, you have to leave a €50 deposit or your driver’s license. The location was great, with shops, restaurants, and public transport close by. Our room was large, with three beds. The toilet had its own room, which gave us more privacy and meant one person could use it while the others used the bathroom. The shower was big and had good pressure. Breakfast was plentiful, with something for everyone, and very good. A few things were missing: no coffee or tea kettle, no refrigerator for leftovers, and no shampoo or conditioner, just body wash.

The room was spacious, with great air conditioning that you can actually control. The hotel was very clean and nice, the staff friendly, and breakfast amazing. The location’s great too, just two metro stops from the airport.

I’m back for a second stay, and the big rooms, friendly helpful staff, and incredible breakfast are still highlights. The paintings all over the walls make the hotel feel unique, and it’s very close to public transport and shopping. The nightstand switch and outlet are awkwardly placed behind the pillow. You can accidentally turn the light on in the middle of the night. Fix that and it’d be five stars.

It’s quiet and old-fashioned in a comforting way you don’t find much anymore, though some parts do feel dated. Our children had a great time, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet, and parking was free. The breakfast buffet was awesome.
