The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is the lack of a kitchen. I didn't notice any musty smell, despite what some reviews say. If you've brought an electric or induction cooker, the owner is fine with you using it in the makeshift kitchen area in the hallway. I'd recommend staying here.

For €25 per person a night, it may do if you're prepared to go without comfort. We expected something else and were disappointed. There's no kitchen, and the bathroom has to be shared by several people. Around 4 a.m. I needed to use it and ended up waiting half an hour. Definitely not a good fit if you have a weak bladder. We left after two nights. It's accommodation for construction workers, really.

My wife and I left feeling disgusted by the whole place. We were given a musty basement room instead of the double room, and the bedding smelled old and stale. The landlord came across as unkempt and sleazy. Toilets and shower were shared in the laundry room, wedged between washing machines and exercise equipment from the 70s. The atmosphere was just gross.

The room was quiet and lovely, really cozy. For the price, it's very good value. The bathroom was spacious and worked well, though the grout could use some bleach.
