I'd book here again, though next time I'd check carefully for a room with AC. Mine didn't have it, but fortunately the weather wasn't very hot and the room stayed cool enough. The view over the little lake was lovely, the staff were great, and the hotel is tucked around a corner. There are a few small places to eat nearby.

The restaurant is elegant, and the dining experience feels carefully thought through in every detail. The rooms are cozy, and I believe they all look out over the beautiful lake and park. My company regularly stays here when we're in Berlin. It has a wonderful, calm old Berlin feel, and as always, staying here was out of this world.

Keep an eye on your belongings. The maid stole my headphones, and later I heard that some colleagues had a wallet and jewelry stolen too. The staff seemed quicker to make excuses online than to offer actual help.

The worst hotel stay we've ever had. Our wallet and other belongings went missing from the room, and despite reporting everything right away and listing each missing item, the hotel did nothing to help. Their access records showed the housekeeper had entered, but management denied anything could have happened and treated us as though we were inventing it. The staff were cold and dismissive, with no real interest in helping. They brushed it off so quickly that it made us feel this sort of theft might not be unusual there. We called the police, but they spoke only German, scolded us for not knowing the language, and offered no help. They didn't protect their guests or accept even basic responsibility. I found the hotel unsafe, unprofessional, and completely untrustworthy. Don't stay here if you care about your things, your safety, or basic human decency.
