City Quartier

The price and quality are well balanced.

For a night or two, it can work if you don't expect much, and the location is handy for the Uber Arena, buses, and other nearby spots. Everything went smoothly, and I would book it again, though I wouldn't choose it for a family with a child. Our room and bathroom were clean, but the bed was too hard for us to sleep well. I can live with there being no smoke detector or emergency exit, but bars on the window bothered me.

The television was good, and the bed and towels were already made up. For a short stay it's manageable, but this level of hygiene doesn't justify the price. The place looks old and possibly has water damage, smelled bad when I arrived, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. Privacy was poor because other vacationers could hang around outside the rooms and see what you were doing, though that's more their fault. The kitchen was dirty and poorly maintained, so I wouldn't cook there.

We ended up booking another hotel after the apartment entry code failed at 12:30 AM. I tried several contact numbers, but nobody answered, and Booking.com didn't answer our calls either. We waited until 3:00 AM before giving up. The owner finally responded at 6:30 AM, six hours later. It was an awful experience.
