SpreeBlau Apartments

We liked the studio’s design and had a lovely view of the Spree from our private terrace. The digital setup worked well, with PIN access and no reception, but it left no way to ask for something like the late checkout we would have liked. For the price, cleanliness should have been better, or the place should cost less. Then it could easily be worth four or five stars. The balcony door was also already broken after just a year in this newly built place. Its hinges didn’t work properly, so it hung from one corner.

A really pretty, clean room and very accommodating hosts. Thanks!

The cold was the hardest part of my stay. The room was far too chilly, and I ended up feeling unwell, so I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone who’s sensitive to low temperatures or needs a warm, comfortable place. There was no warm water either, which took away from the stay. On the plus side, the room was well kept and the kitchen was good.

For the price, I could have given this four stars, but the pillows were the worst I’ve ever slept on. Getting a good night’s sleep is the point of a hotel, and these head pillows just didn’t do it. They should provide firmer ones.
