The bar was nice, with beach volleyball and a really good atmosphere. But the rooms are tiny with hardly any space, and the poor insulation meant they were either very hot or cold. Facilities were limited, and there were no common areas, which would have been nice when it was raining. The cleaning lady was very rude.

The booking system had a technical problem, so the hotel didn't receive my reservation correctly and couldn't have a room ready when I arrived. That was inconvenient, but they contacted me as soon as they found out and arranged a stay at a nearby hotel of the same standard at no extra cost. They took care of everything smoothly, so I didn't have to worry. I was impressed by their professionalism, quick response, and willingness to take responsibility and make sure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. The experience ended up being positive because of their excellent customer service. Mistakes happen, and how they're handled matters.

I liked the little bar and restaurant area, especially the good range of healthy snacks in the fridge. The cubes are in a pretty cool spot, with sports courts nearby, and the toilet block is centrally placed for easy access. The rooms are tiny, as expected, and the showers were okay, though they could be cleaned more carefully. Finding the entrance was straightforward in daylight. After dinner, though, the alley was poorly lit and I felt uneasy walking back alone as a woman. More lighting would make a real difference. Check-in closes at 8 pm, so late arrivals need to make arrangements with the staff. It was a decent budget stay in the city, very much a case of getting what you pay for.

The central location is the main thing going for this place. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. The cubes are cramped, uncomfortable for sleeping, and get really stuffy overnight. There's almost nowhere to store anything beyond a tiny coffee table, and the bathroom and shower facilities feel cheaply made. Sound carries through the cubes as if there were no insulation. We were fortunate that our neighbors were quiet most nights, but even coughing and quiet conversation came through. One night, people drinking beer outside their cube sounded as though they were right in our room. Also, they don't let you leave your bags there on departure day. For what you get, it's very overpriced.
