Excellent Apartments Kreuzberg

I ended up putting my scarf over the duvet because it was so thin and I was cold, which is unusual for me. The linens could use an upgrade, too. I was glad my room was near the bathroom, but I hadn’t realized when booking that it was shared. For that price, sharing a bathroom felt like too much. The place was very clean, the staff were polite, and the outside noise was well blocked. The self check-in instructions need to be clearer, though. I kept going up and down the stairs. Please explain that it’s a flat, that guests should enter through the door marked 'excellent apartments', and then look for their room number. They were also vacuuming early in the morning. Too expensive for what’s offered.

Good location, clean, and very cheap. Just be aware that Room 6 is “independent”, so you have to use a key each time you want to get to the toilet or kitchen.

The rate may be cheap, but the bathroom is in such terrible shape that it shouldn’t be rented out, even for free. Please fix it soon. It makes people sick.

The location is excellent, in a quiet neighborhood and only a two-minute walk from Hallesches Tor. There’s no breakfast, but a lovely cafe, Hallesches Haus, is right next to Hallesches Tor. I was travelling alone and could see this working well for couples and families too. The living room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen nice. The bathroom and towel were clean, the Wi-Fi worked fine, and the staff were friendly. Checkout is at 10am, a little early, but the self checkout is easy.
