For the price, this is a great location, close to cafes, museums, and tourist sights. The service was fine, and the rooms were well cared for considering the price and location. I have no complaints about them. The outside of the building was being repaired while we were there, but there had been no warning or signs about the construction and painting. It wasn't too bothersome, though the paint fumes outside were very strong. The air conditioning was disabled, but you could get around that by connecting your phone to the thermostat by Bluetooth. It was self explanatory, with no signs or instructions explaining how.

The breakfast was the highlight for us, easily the best we’ve had around there, so book it. My son and I were in Berlin for sightseeing, and the location made getting around simple. Most places were an easy walk, and the hop-on hop-off bus stop was just a block away. Our room was spacious and really clean.

We had a lovely little Christmas break in Berlin and would definitely stay here again. The room was warm and clean, we slept well, and the staff were kind. They even welcomed us with a drink. Everything went smoothly, and the price was affordable. We hadn't expected to enjoy our short trip quite so much.

The mattress was bent and aggravated my back, and it took three complaints to reception before they replaced it. Housekeeping had only tried turning it around, which didn't help. At check-in, the receptionist also charged me city tax that I'd already paid when booking, so I had to sort out a refund through Agoda. I stayed for three nights, and it wasn't a good hotel experience. I won't return.

The bar was a cozy spot for a drink after a day out, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Gat Point Charlie is also very quiet and well placed for seeing the sights. Our room was lovely, with a free minibar stocked with juice and water as well as tea and coffee. Supplies were topped up daily, and one morning there was a bowl of fruit. We booked on the website and got a good price. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin.
