It felt like another chain hotel, though the location was handy for exploring the city and cultural events in the former East side. The 1.3km stretch of the wall is just steps away and gives you a view of history. At night, I was reminded of my first Berlin visit in 90, when the wall was still standing but fractured and crossable. The hotel was clean and otherwise as expected, but our heater was broken. We asked for service twice and nothing happened.

It's a very comfortable, pleasant hotel with spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. The location works well for a walk by the river and a visit to the gallery. Breakfast is good, though the room can get crowded sometimes. Parking isn't always easy to find.

The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and the soundproofing was adequate. Staff were polite and breakfast had enough choice. It's good value for the money, even if it's not perfect. From the mobile app, I'd recommend choosing a room with a view of the Berlin wall. Metro and bus links to the city center and airport are good.

The location is great, but that was about the only thing I liked. For a Hampton by Hilton, and at €189 for one night for one person, I expected more and left disappointed. The furnishings and equipment felt standard and not especially high quality. I've stayed in cheaper hotels that were much better. Service also disappointed me: I asked for a late checkout, something that usually isn't a problem for an hour or two after the normal checkout time and is sometimes free. Here they wanted 16 euros for one extra hour or 60 euros for two.

A decent fitness centre, a really good buffet breakfast, and very nice showers. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making this a great business hotel. It's close to train and metro stations, and there's a nice walk past the berlin wall on the way into the centre.
