Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West

The staff made me feel looked after from the moment I arrived, going out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of food and drinks to choose from. The hotel was spotless, cozy and well maintained, and the location made it easy to walk to train stations and several great restaurants. I had a late flight, and they kindly extended my checkout by a few hours, which helped a lot. They also helped receive my Amazon packages and arrange the return of a delivery that arrived after I had checked out. I had a wonderful experience at Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West and will definitely come back on my next visit to Berlin. Highly recommended!

There were plenty of public transport stops nearby, though the hotel isn't very central. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and housekeeping came daily. I had no problems during the stay, and the free breakfast was delicious with lots of options. I really enjoyed staying here. My only suggestion is to add a safe to the room.

The location was the only real plus for me. I rarely write hotel reviews, but this stay felt very midtier. Our room was spacious, though a bit dusty when we checked in, and the balcony faced the train tracks, so there was some disturbance each night. Breakfast disappointed me too: it was the same basic selection every day and felt short on both variety and freshness. For this price, I'd pick somewhere else.

Just a heads-up: there aren't safes in the rooms, but you can use one at the front desk free of charge. They're first come, first served, and only one is big enough for a laptop. The front desk staff were attentive and friendly, and they answered my emails very quickly before the stay when I had questions. Highly recommended.
