At first I was put off. The place had hostel vibes and the rooms felt cramped and dingy. But the hotel has loads of personality, the breakfast was terrific, the staff were accommodating when I asked for extra pillows, and the area was quaint. I wouldn't stay again, though I wasn't displeased.

I really enjoyed the stay, and the hotel feels like a good-value choice for a short visit to Berlin. The decor and furniture give it an inspiring, edgy feel. I gave it four stars because it covers the basics for budget travel rather than trying to wow you with luxury.

Getting around is easy, with trams, the metro, and buses close by in central Berlin. The staff were lovely, the rooms clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good and available until 11 a.m. I’d happily recommend it! :)

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room could use renovation. I noticed an odd smell on arrival and had to leave the window open. Water also drained slowly in the bathroom.

Paul was especially helpful, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and several tram stops and train stations are right nearby. Absolutely perfect, I’d stay again without hesitation!
