Hotel Bleibtreu Berlin by Golden Tulip

The friendly staff did try, and breakfast was okay, but at the price we paid I expected much more. We felt deceived, especially since we’ve stayed like royalty elsewhere in Berlin for less. The place felt outdated, shabby, and in places downright dirty, all in brown and beige. Rooms were small, with unpleasant old furniture and many things missing that you’d expect from a hotel calling itself 4-Star. The bathroom design was odd, with a shower curtain that got everything wet. The location near Kurfürstendamm is great, but we can’t recommend it. Never again.

The location is absolutely great, and the staff are very friendly. My single room was tiny, though the bed was just big enough and the mattress was good 🤍. I had some trouble with the bathroom, the shower was very strange.

I haven’t stayed there yet, but the way they handled my booking problem makes me want to book here next time I’m in Berlin. I emailed the hotel and got friendly, professional help; they sorted it out quickly and without complications. I especially appreciate Silvester’s kindness and care. Thanks again!

There was no kettle in the room, and when we asked reception for hot water in the evening, they said they didn’t have any. Then, in the middle of the night, water started pouring through the ceiling into both the room and bedroom. The hotel gave us another room.
