ibis Berlin Spandau

The location worked well, and the hotel was fine for a short visit. A few things fell short: the TV's smart features didn't work, there was no tea or coffee setup in the room, and the lobby fridges stayed empty throughout my stay.

We booked breakfast, but at the hotel they said our booking didn't include it and asked us to pay an extra 17 euro per person. Is this some kind of scam? The receptionist ( krystyana) was very rude to us. I won't come back or recommend the place to anyone.

The classic room had a comfortable bed and a modular bathroom, and the city view was good. It was quiet, too. The Zitadelle is within walking distance, which made the location even better. No complaints, the stay matched what I expected for the price.

The mall is right beside ibis Berlin Spandau, so there are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. Hotel guests can use its parking for €5 per 24 hours, which is affordable, though getting to the hotel means walking through the mall with your bags. There's no direct route between the hotel and either the mall or parking lot, which can be inconvenient. Inside, the room was clean and in good condition, as was the washroom. The room is standard-sized and looked like the pictures, though online it seemed a little bigger. Check-in was smooth, with an efficient and welcoming desk. It's a clean, conveniently placed option for shopping and dining, and the access issues are only a minor drawback.
