The sheets were unwashed, there was hair, including short hairs, and the place smelled of cigarettes. The hygiene and standards were a disaster. I don’t know how a place like this is allowed to operate. Customer service was basically nonexistent, arrogant, and unwilling to help or find a solution. I’m sharing this to describe what happened to me and maybe spare someone else the same unpleasant experience. This isn’t written out of anger.
The location was the one good thing. The apartment is in the basement, and it was noisy every time someone entered or left the building. It also uses the same key as the building entrance, so anyone who can get into the building can enter the apartment. There was no sense of safety at all. The bathroom had nothing but soap, and the kitchen smelled bad the whole time.
The apartment was filthy, with thick dust, cobwebs, kitchen stains, and even blood stains in the bathroom. I had to buy cleaning supplies just to feel comfortable and clean things myself. The furniture was damaged, and there was broken glass in the entrance area. When I tried the rusty hair dryer, it started smoking. That was scary and felt super unsafe. I was promised cleaning support for the second day, but nobody showed up or called me back. This was nowhere near the standard I expected, and I don’t plan to stay with limehome again.
There’s plenty of space and the kitchen feels cozy. The bathroom was a bit of a hassle, with no proper ventilation and shower doors that wouldn’t close. There’s no AC in the rooms.
The pictures are an absolute joke. Add a beach photo in front of the flat and it might look more realistic.
