Linnen

The room was beautifully designed and really cozy, and the owners were friendly and welcoming enough to make me feel at home. Linnen Hotel is a charming boutique hotel in a great spot, close to everything we wanted to explore in Berlin. Check-in and checkout were effortless and made my trip smoother. I highly recommend it.

Prenzlauer was a dream neighborhood for us, with lots of good food and drink nearby and both the train and tram just a two-minute walk away. We hardly heard other guests from Room 1, where my partner and I stayed for ten days this June. The room felt like a small one-bedroom apartment, with a lovely balcony and a huge bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable, the WiFi was great, and the thoughtful things the owners provide downstairs in the kitchen and lobby were lovely. We used the food, filtered water, and impressive coffee machine every morning. A couple of things to know: Berlin was hot, more or less 30C every day. Linnen lent us a fan, and we’d have struggled without it, so be prepared. I believe some other rooms have ceiling fans. The tram passing by all day and night was quite loud from Room 1 and literally shook the room. The fan muted some of the noise, and we didn’t wake up too often from the shaking, but it’s worth knowing about. Perhaps other rooms don’t feel it as much. Linnen is a distinctive place to stay in Berlin, more like an Airbnb but with the security and conveniences of a hotel.

Room1 had a spacious, modern layout, and it stayed cool in summer with the ceiling and floor fans, which eased our worry about there being no air conditioning. We loved the neighborhood’s cool vibe and all the places to eat and things to do. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and super clean. Linnen is ideally placed near shops, restaurants, and transport. I had a lovely two-day stay and will definitely return when I’m back in Berlin. Keep up the good work :)
