The room was decent for what it cost, and the metro is only a five-minute walk away. The rest of the stay was a mess, though. The shower leaked, and the heating quit after the first day. At check-in, their self-service system didn't recognize my Booking.com payment, so I had to pay twice. I was left outside in the cold at night with no reception, no number to call, and no response to my messages or emails. They got back to me four days later and refunded the money. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed for a week, and it was the most uncomfortable hotel experience I've had. The French room looked much bigger and wider in the Booking.com photos than it turned out to be. The bathroom takes up about 80% of the room, leaving hardly any space to move with another person. The bed was okay, but smaller than we'd expected. There was no fridge, kettle, cups, or soap. We had to complain at reception, which is only open until 14:00. They told us to hang up a sign for the cleaner about the soap. We'd paid for the room, so being made to manage room service ourselves felt disrespectful. Breakfast had very little variety: bread, some vegetables, and scrambled eggs made once with no refills. The whole thing felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

I paid extra for a baby bed, but it was extremely uncomfortable and didn't have a proper mattress. The bathroom had no slippers, which I found unacceptable for hygiene. The room was very small and had no fridge or other cooling unit. I have diabetes and need to keep insulin cool, so having no way to store it safely was unacceptable and unsafe for my health. My experience was that the hotel misleads guests and doesn't deliver what it promises. I strongly advise others to avoid it.

The room was spotless and the accommodation was nice. The big problem was getting inside: there were no clear instructions, and I waited more than an hour before anyone answered the phone number listed on the website. A very nice girl helped me once I got through. That one issue is why I gave it 4 stars.
