Motel One Berlin-Bellevue

Getting around was easy, with supermarkets, bus stops, and train stations all within walking distance. The motel was clean and had a welcoming feel, with a spacious lobby and a well-regarded breakfast. The rooms are compact but laid out efficiently, with comfortable beds, enough storage, and a sofa.

It’s fully wheelchair accessible, with power doors and no steps at the entrance. The room doors are pretty heavy, but otherwise accessibility is very good. Staff were helpful too. This was a really solid hotel and a great spot if you’re doing the Berlin marathon. Highly recommend it, especially if you use a wheelchair.

I only stayed one night, but I really enjoyed it. Getting here from the main station was quick and straightforward through a quiet neighborhood. The staff were very nice and easy to talk to, and check-in was fast. Check-out was even easier: just leave your card in a box and go. The room was neat and tidy, with a comfortable bed and enough pillows for days. The bathroom was very clean, with three mirrors, a hairdryer, and soap for hands, body, and hair. My only complaint was the TV. I could turn it on, switch to radio, and adjust the volume, but couldn’t do anything else. I assume the batteries were dead. It wasn’t a big bother for just one night. Some rooms face train tracks, and with the windows fully open it can get quite loud, but closing them lets you enjoy the quiet. For a quick meal, there’s amazing pizza right across from the entrance, with lovely people around.

A good place to stay for a few days. The rooms are clean but small, and the staff are friendly and happy to help. The midday checkout is handy. It was all what you’d expect from a budget place.
