We were lucky that our cameras and other electronics were left alone, though that felt more like chance than any real sense of security. Money was stolen from our room during the stay, and management essentially ignored what happened. The manager ran away from us and dodged responsibility. Staff apparently can get into the apartment, yet it wasn’t cleaned. So why were they entering, if not to look around and possibly steal? When we reported it, management seemed unsurprised and offered no meaningful help. You may not be as lucky as we were.

Our flight was canceled because of airport strikes in Germany, so we couldn’t use the three nights we’d booked. I asked for a refund, different dates, or even a partial cancellation because of the force majeure, but they stuck to the strict booking terms. They show no interest in helping or treating customers with care. Terrible service, with no humanity at all. Even if you had died, they’d still take your money.

We had no hot water for two days, and there was no hotline to call. They only sent apologies by email. For the price, that’s a shame. The building itself is old and dirty, and people pee on the entrance door at night. Inside, the apartment was dusty and poorly cleaned: stains on the kitchen, fridge, glasses and sheets. The second bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the old shower doors wouldn’t stay upright. The bathroom didn’t feel hygienic at all. Just go somewhere else.

The place is central, with a Rewe just around the corner. The apartment is spacious, but feels empty and not very cozy, and it could use a few hundred euros' worth of paintings and a carpet. Getting in means walking through a cafe, which can be crowded and doesn’t feel great. There’s nowhere to park, and parking is expensive. I was on the fourth floor with no elevator. The WiFi was poor, the old building has noisy floors, housekeeping hadn’t replenished basic things like soap, shampoo and salt, and there’s no dishwasher.
