The rooms are roomy, and the soft contour lighting gives them a cozy, subdued feel. Staff were excellent at finding convenient solutions and making sure I was comfortable. I also liked the breakfast, €25 and served until 10:30 AM. There’s a small gym open around the clock, plus a pool and sauna open until 11 PM for adults only. Parking costs €25 per day. I wouldn’t choose the premium room. Its little balcony wasn’t useful to me, and it cuts into the room, leaving less space, a smaller shower, and a tiny balcony without a nice view. The sliding wardrobe door also gets in the way of the bathroom. The sauna needs better upkeep and temperature control, and the hammam smelled unpleasant and had a light that didn’t work. The room felt cramped and poorly laid out.

We had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back. The breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of variety and everything well prepared, and the staff were very service minded. Two things kept it from being a five-star stay for us: the pool and spa water was really cold, and the hall around the bar and breakfast area felt chilly all the time. Vielen Dank.

The studio-style room was awesome, and the whole building had a sauna-like wellness feel. The staff were incredibly accommodating too. I loved the concept and will stay here again.

The wellness and fitness facilities were great, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. An U-Bahn station is right across the street, with Kurfürstendamm and KaDeWe both walkable from the hotel. The staff were especially friendly and went well beyond what was needed to help. One of the best Berlin hotels we’ve stayed in. If you’re after a place in Charlottenburg, this one is worth considering.

The desserts were beautifully presented and a 10/10, and we liked the €10 per day credit for the bar or restaurant when we skipped room cleaning. This was my second stay at the SANA, and the hotel and its staff were just as lovely as I remembered. I have an SLS allergy, and all the toiletries were sulphate free, which made things much easier. The pillows were my one big problem. They felt like loose, rolled-up material in a sack rather than proper pillows, and I barely slept. I was tired throughout the trip, and that could stop me from returning. Everything else was perfect.
