City Hotel Hannover

Room 112 was the cheapest and smallest option, but it still had everything I needed: a toilet with WC, sink and shower, desk, flat TV, free Internet connection, storage, and a very comfortable bed next to the window. The decor is quite modern and the general feel is really pretty. When reception is closed, you can get in through a back door with the key they give you at check-in. Everyone on staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast had loads to choose from, and I liked how guests greeted each other with 'guten Morgen' and 'schönen Tag'. It made for a friendly atmosphere. The hotel is within walking distance of the main train station, shops, old town, tram and metro, yet it was still quiet enough for a nice, deep sleep. The price was very reasonable too. I'd definitely stay again. This hotel is absolutely great, from the staff and location to the price and rooms.

I found the hotel easily, and its location is central. The staff were helpful with both check-in and room questions. My first room had some problems, so I told them and they gave me another one. I'm sure they make an effort to sort these things out. Thanks for trying. It's not a luxury hotel, but the cleanliness and facilities are pretty good. I liked breakfast too. It had lots of variety, was tasty, and wasn't expensive. Thanks for everything.

We could park across the street in the garage at a reduced rate through the hotel, and the city center was conveniently close. We stayed for two nights just before Christmas, in a comfortable, recently renovated room on the top floor with a small balcony. The staff were very friendly. Recommended.

The rooms are quite good for a 3 star hotel, though the bathroom might need updating, and breakfast was OK. Some parts of the hotel had poor phone signal or WIFI connection 2. It's a cheap option in the city center, near the main station and important sights. I gave it 3 stars because we went during Ligna fair. I understand prices go up for an event, but not by that much. In the normal season, the usual price is perfect / OK. During LIGNA, it's too expensive. Better to pay 100€ more per room after one week and have a better hotel once you've spent that much.
