Best Western Hotel Hannover City

The hotel is on a busy street, right across from a very noisy bar that plays loud music late into the night. There's no ventilation or aircon in the rooms, so getting fresh air means opening the window and putting up with the music. I wouldn't recommend it.

Our flight was cancelled, so we had to spend the night at Best Western. The room was in good condition, and we managed to sleep for four hours before going back to the airport. Many thanks to the gentleman at reception, who welcomed us at 2AM and gave us fruit when we were starving. Five stars for him!

I booked this for a business trip to Hannover because the other hotels were full, and it was a terrible stay. I paid 90 EUR/night for a Superior room, but the quality didn't come close to matching the price. The room was on the first floor, across from a bar with outdoor seating and large neon lights. It stayed open until 3am. There was no airconditioning, only a fan, so opening the window meant hearing all the bar noise. With the curtains open, people at the bar could see into the room. The furniture was in really poor condition, and the fridge was empty and loud. I also found an insect in the room, probably because of the old furniture and carpet. I couldn't sleep that night, with three more days ahead of me, so I found another hotel and tried to cancel the rest of my stay. To my surprise, the full stay had already been charged to my credit card. The hotel didn't even have my company adress for the invoice, but they were quick to charge me, for obvious reasons. I was told the remaining nights would be reimbruised to my card by the "reservation" office, but I don't think any such office exists. Don't stay here unless you really have to.

If a good night's sleep matters to you, please don't book this hotel. The rooms have no air conditioning, and loud music goes on until 2 AM. I think it's the worst hotelI have ever stayed in Germany.
