The rooms were basic but clean, and we'd give them five stars for cleanliness. Each person had a towel, and the bed linen was fresh and smelled pleasant. The terrace was shared with the neighbors, so there wasn't much privacy, and neither side of the house had a nice view. At Mariengrund holiday home, the toilet, bathroom, and kitchen are shared with other guests, which is useful to know beforehand. The kitchen had a few basics, including coffee for the coffee maker, oil, salt, and pepper, a thoughtful touch. Toilet paper and disinfectant in the bathroom were also a plus. The home was clean, but not quite what we expected. Comfort and privacy weren't enough for us, so the overall stay comes to three and a half stars.

Right beside the motorway, this campsite and motorhome pitch works well for an overnight stop heading south, or on the return trip in the other direction.
