Check-in and check-out are simple and contact-free, and there’s a decent lounge and kitchen where you can make basic meals. There’s a microwave, though no stove. You’re right by the castle and the rest of the old town, with cute and cool places all around. The walls could be thicker, but I had no other complaints.

The whole city centre is lovely, and the room was clean and spacious, right in the old town. The bathroom is shared between three rooms, and you check in and out without contact, using keys from a lockbox. I’d gladly recommend staying here. A few metres up the road, past the odd rabbit statue, there’s a great pub, the Wanderer, if I remember right. The other way, there’s a square where I had the best lamb and falafel wrap ever.

The room was nice and clean, and the area felt pretty relaxed. There wasn’t much service otherwise, though. The instructions could have been clearer: a Ukrainian couple might not have been able to get in if I hadn’t helped them.

It’s in the middle of the old town, about a five-minute walk from the Castle. The hostel was spotless, with private rooms and a shared kitchen and bathroom.
