The staff really went out of their way for our family of five, and the restaurant food was excellent. Our three kids had plenty of room in the clean, spacious rooms, and we also enjoyed the sauna and the lovely decorations. Landgasthof Hotel Linde is just a six- to seven-minute drive from Legoland Deutschland, which made it easy for us.

The team made us feel welcome the whole time. The hotel and food were both amazing too. Thanks so much, everyone.

We were staying at the nearby Eurohotel, which recommended this restaurant, and tried it on two of our last two nights, but only managed to eat there once. The food we got after a slow response the first night was average, and we had to ask twice for our final drink. We tried again the next evening. After a waitress had seen us, we waited outside for half an hour. I went in, made eye contact with a busy waitress, then went back out because I didn't want to be pushy. Another 15 minutes went by. I finally fetched two menus myself and checked with a waiter whether we could sit outside. He said yes and promised to come out, but after another 10-15 minutes we were still being ignored. Nobody acknowledged us when we returned the menus, so we left. Very poor service. We travel a lot around Europe from Australia and have never been left waiting that long.

The food was very good, and the rooms were modern, clean, and fantastic. There's a safe and some luggage space in the room. My only gripe is the sink, which makes washing your face difficult.
