The kids had a great time with the farm activities, and we came away feeling properly relaxed. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the quiet setting worked really well for a family break. Everyone we met on staff was warm and welcoming. We loved our stay at Cafe Wastelbauerhof and would happily come back. A lovely countryside spot for families.

We stopped for lunch while out hiking and tried the Tomato and Champion sandwiches. Both were great. The service was top-notch, the beer was good, and the prices felt fair. Just be aware they don't take credit cards. A very, very nice restaurant.

Our toddler was in heaven here. With animals to see and a play area to enjoy, the kids could keep busy while the parents relaxed. Everyone was happy, and we loved our stay.

After our hike we stopped by for a drink. The garden was lovely, the food was good, and the service was friendly. Right beside the cafe there's an amazing playground for kids, with animals nearby too. We even met a friendly cat and a pony.

We came for coffee and cake to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the cake was so good it was hard not to order more. The menu mentions a prize-winning pastry chef in Japan and Germany, and you can taste the skill. One small tip: the café is easy to miss, since it's up the hill on a road parallel to the main road and isn't signposted very clearly.
