Hotel restaurant germania

With Markt Square less than a minute away, the hotel is right in the historic center. Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel itself is clean and no frills. Breakfast in the restaurant was good, with cheeses, ham, eggs, yogurt, muesli, tea, coffee, juice, fruit, and local jams. Each room had a reserved table with a white tablecloth. The restaurant also serves Indian food in the evening. Since the central area has pedestrian streets, you need to leave your car in the riverside parking lot, then walk 3-5 minutes to the hotel. The staff were attentive and pleasant. We also recommend visiting the castle on the mountain for its lovely view of the river and valley.

After a long autumn day that turned chilly toward the end, a warm soup and a good Riesling hit the spot. I also had Schnitzel with hunters sauce and salad from the buffet. The price was really reasonable, and the friendly staff helped make dinner a success.

The location was perfect, and the service was good. My room was big and clean, and breakfast was available too.

The owner was such a sincere, friendly man, and the restaurant had a nice nostalgic feel. We ordered steak and schnitzel, and both were good. They brought us a generous vegetable soup before we even asked, enough for four people, and we could help ourselves at the salad bar. A really nice visit.
