We had a great time here with our dog in December 2021. It’s a beautiful place in the city center, the owners are nice, parking was well arranged, and all the amenities were available. We decided to return in July and December 2022.

A clean, lovely apartment in a great spot, furnished with real attention to detail.

We stayed here three years ago, and it was still fresh and very clean. We were in the top-floor apartment, which has shutters, so it’s perfect for sleeping in. The shower was wonderful, and it had every luxury except a microwave, though there was an oven. Dogs are welcome, too. I liked the soft beds, but my husband wasn’t so keen on them.

The location is good, and the apartment is a good size. The mattresses, though, are uncomfortable and worn out. The landlord is unlawfully keeping the tax advantage if a booking was made before June 31, 2020, for a trip in the second half of 2020. We tried several times to clarify this, but there’s no sign he’ll change his position. The booking process and confirmation both show the net price and VAT, so this isn’t a so-called fixed price. According to the law and the consumer protection agency's opinion, the VAT should be adjusted retroactively and the difference refunded, since the landlord is also sending less tax from guests to the tax office. Unfortunately, the landlord seems to care only about his own interests. The pandemic hurt other sectors badly too, and the tax reduction is meant to help everyone involved. For this kind of booking, as with purchase contracts in other sectors, it’s meant to benefit consumers. Since July, the landlord has been able to keep the total price the same and pocket more profit, but that’s another issue. His lack of understanding is very disappointing and speaks volumes. We’ve informed the consumer protection agency.
