Breakfast was much more generous than we expected, and it comes at a small extra charge that you need to book separately. The house sits in a lovely big garden or park, and there was a fresh bunch of lilacs on the kitchen table when we arrived. The rooms are plain and practical, with a coffee maker, toaster, and kettle. Our landlady was kind and helpful, and breakfast was brought to the room. It’s a good fit for an overnight stay if basic facilities are enough for you. Thanks for everything!

The quiet was such a treat after city life, and we loved looking out over all the greenery and sitting in the garden. We had a wonderful short break at Gutshaus Dämelow, staying overnight in an apartment furnished with real charm. Each morning our welcoming hostess brought a generous, tasty breakfast with plenty of variety, and her cheerful “Good morning!” got the day off to a lovely start. Thank you for such a nice stay! There’s parking right by the manor house, and Wismar, Poel Island, and other attractions are nearby.

The optional breakfast was prepared with care and there was plenty of it. I’d just change the coffee. The green setting is beautiful, and the outdoor area is well kept, with room to relax or let children run around. A good place to visit when the weather’s nice.
