Breakfast was good, and the woman serving it was helpful and friendly. Getting inside was another matter: we arrived at 20:15 PM, but hadn't received a passcode and couldn't get in. Calling reception didn't help. Luckily, a resident came by and let us through. The staff later said we should have told them our arrival time, but with a business trip, that wasn't possible, especially with traffic.

The room was clean and cozy, but on the first day the heating was off and there was no hot water.

We've been coming to the Soleiado about twice a year since 2018, and love it. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are super comfortable. A view over the Pedestrian zone is a real plus. We also like being able to arrive late, use a code to get in, pick up our room key, and go straight to the room. Two separate Parking Garages nearby offer very affordable parking, though you do have to bring your luggage from the garage. There are stairs and no lift, and breakfast is served at the sister property about a 2-minute walk away. The Altstadt has old-world charm and everything is easy to reach on foot. If that's what you're after, along with a great location, friendly staff, and a comfortable room, you should love the Soleiado too.

I slept really well and felt well looked after. It was quiet, and everything was easy to reach on foot from this very nice hotel in a good location. I'd happily come back if I get the chance.
