Many items on the breakfast buffet are lovingly homemade, and you can really taste it. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the food is fantastic and plentiful, and the vegetarians in our group had plenty of good options every evening. We hadn’t planned to eat at the guesthouse every night, but the meals were so good that we did. We also appreciated the cosy common room, the drinks-stocked refrigerator, ample parking, and heated ski storage. The Wi-Fi stayed connected without needing a daily reset, unlike at some other hotels. We were there as a group of couples for skiing and hiking, and the location worked perfectly. The valley station is only a few minutes’ walk from the guesthouse, and a hiking trail starts right outside. The town center is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. We’ll definitely be back!

We could leave the car behind for almost everything and get around on foot or by public transport, so the location worked really well. The four of us spent a few days at this lovely guesthouse. It was exceptionally clean, and the rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated. The hosts were so kind and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. We had a relaxing, really lovely stay and would happily recommend it.

We felt so at home that we booked another stay before leaving. Dinner was available right at the guesthouse, with plenty of choices, and everything we tried was delicious. A beer or a shot of oxhead liqueur after the meal became part of the evening. Breakfast was generous and prepared with care each day. The location is ideal too, right by the hiking trails and the valley station. We first stayed here at Christmas and were welcomed so warmly. I’d also had a lovely phone conversation before we arrived. The guesthouse is modern, spotless, and equipped with everything we could want for a holiday. The guesthouse is a great base for activities for both children and adults, and we always find something more to praise. Over the years, we’ve visited in different seasons, sometimes as a couple, with our grandchildren as a family of four, and once with a larger group of 12. Every time, we’ve enjoyed the hosts’ warm welcome, modern and comfortable rooms, and how clean everything is. Breakfast has lots of homemade food, including salads, cream cheese, yogurt, Obatzda, and more. At dinner there’s a varied menu, and they’re happy to cater to individual requests. There’s also a comfortable lounge with tea and coffee facilities, plus a self-service fridge stocked with drinks on an honor system.
