We loved the room, and breakfast was a really good continental spread. The owners were fantastic, and the whole place felt clean and charming. Dinner was tasty too, though it was served a little early for our schedule, so we only tried it once. We came in July, three people with a medium-sized dog, hoping for an uphill stay with a real Tirol feel. We hadn't realized the ski lifts were right outside the door. We don't ski, but enjoyed seeing the area, and there are plenty of paths for cyclists and walkers. Cows can come right up and linger outside, though the cars seemed to be looked after. The parking lot was good. We really recommend visiting Salzbergwerk Berchtesgarden. It's amazing.

If you're English, don't bother. The landlords made us feel very unwelcome. They huffed and puffed while checking us in, then shouted at us in German for using the toilets. For what was basically a spot in a car park, it felt overpriced, especially with no facilities, not even water or bins.

The view is lovely, especially at sunset and sunrise, and the food at the restaurant was tasty. A night costs 10€, and you get a 10€ voucher to spend there. The beer on tap was delicious, and breakfast is available too, but needs to be ordered a day ahead. This is a great camping and parking spot. Check in at the restaurant when you arrive. Toilets are available during your stay, though washing and brushing your teeth there aren't allowed, which makes sense. The drive up to Götschalm gets steep and narrow in places, but it wasn't a big problem for us. Recommended!

We slept overnight in our camper in the car park, so I can't comment on the rooms, though I expect they're great. The food was great too, and the location is lovely.

We had a calm, pleasant summer stay in a nice spot with a large parking area. The room was clean and nice, and breakfast was very tasty. The staff didn't speak English, so I had to try my bad German, but somehow we managed to understand each other :)
