I stopped by twice in the afternoon for coffee, and both visits were awful. On the first visit, an older man, who I guess was the owner, pushed me because he insisted I had to use Luca to register first. It's completely unacceptable and rude to touch a customer who has come to your door. My friend insisted we stay, and since it was raining, we ordered cake and coffee anyway. They seemed understaffed, and every guest had to wait quite a while. The other waitresses weren't rude, but I wouldn't call them nice either. On my second visit, a Sunday afternoon, I sat outside for ten minutes without anyone serving me. Three waitresses or waiters passed by and saw me, while nearby tables were being served. I wasn't even given a menu. They seem to have the best location in the area and not care whether customers come or not.

After touring the famous Luneburger Heide by horse cart, which we rented next to the hotel, my friends and I stopped here for a break. We had snacks and drinks on the terrace. It was busy but still cozy. A lovely bit of time together!

Beautiful surroundings, a big play area right outside, and very kid friendly. The restaurant was super cozy and served great food. The staff were so friendly!
