We spent 14 days in July in apartment 2 on the upper floor and have nothing to complain about. The landlords were very friendly and welcoming, and we’ll remember this wonderful vacation for a long time. The cameras another reviewer mentioned are outside the house, where you can see them at the parking area, garbage area, and entrance. So there’s nothing to worry about.

The balcony has a great view, and Ms. Schellein was very friendly and easy to deal with. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The bathroom is small but adequate, and the Wi-Fi could be better. I’d gladly stay again.

The Schellein house is in a lovely, quiet setting, and the grounds are well maintained. We stayed in apartment 3 in the basement. It has a nice terrace that adds a lot to the accommodation, and each apartment has its own parking space. Unfortunately, apartment 3 has a damp problem. Even with constant airing while we were there, the bathroom humidity wouldn’t stay below 85%. The landlord tried to address it by entering with a key he kept without the tenant knowing, while the tenant was away, to air the apartment out. He could tell when we were away through a security camera that we also hadn’t been told about. The landlord couple’s behavior spoiled our stay. They could have talked to us first. Simply entering our space like that is unacceptable.

The house and garden are well maintained, and there are reserved parking spaces. We found a clean apartment with a well-equipped kitchen in a fantastic location. The hosts were very friendly and always up for a chat. No complaints at all. Highly recommended! We’d love to return, and I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
