Ferienwohnung Stuiben

We booked through Allgäuer Ferienwohnung for six people because we specifically wanted two bathrooms. Only afterward did we find out the apartment had three bedrooms and one bathroom, even though Booking.com described a fourth bedroom with a second bathroom. That setup was quite insufficient for our group. There was parking for just one car, which is a problem when six people rarely travel in one vehicle. We were assigned an open space for our second car and received a €20 ticket today. Apparently parking there is prohibited and requires a parking disc, though that seemed to apply only to non-residents. We saw that only local cars were allowed to park there. A cynic might suspect something fishy. The apartment was spacious, but some areas needed repainting. The kitchen itself was roomy and nice, but the pots and pans were inadequate: just two large pots and two shabby frying pans. The kitchen chairs were barely usable, and one was so damaged it couldn’t be used at all. We booked five nights and got only three dishwasher tablets. The beds creaked a lot, and the mattresses were quite soft. During the night, my husband fell onto the floor with the bed frame in one bedroom. For me, unfortunately, the place could be much better. It’s a shame, because a small investment could make the property so much better.
