Hotel Restaurant Haus Zwicker

I was here for five nights on a work trip. The rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious, though they can get hot when it’s hot outside since there’s no air conditioning. Tea and coffee in the room would make a big difference. Breakfast was simple continental food, but tasty. The restaurant’s food was amazing, and the outdoor seating area was nice. Great beers, too. I’d recommend it.

The place is a little out of the way, though there are handy amenities nearby. I enjoyed my week-long stay and would come back. The restaurant food was excellent, and my room was spacious, clean, and well appointed.

We arrived late after going to the Belgian Grand Prix, but the man helping us was kind and sorted us out even though he was extremely busy with a wedding at the venue next door. We’d forgotten to buy snacks, so he went to the kitchen and gave us some for free. We slept like little babies in the comfortable beds, and breakfast was everything we’d hoped for. Many thanks from the two Dutch couples who stayed last Saturday!

It feels like a real family business, and you can see how much heart and effort the owners put into it. Grandpa is working his way down from the top floor as he redecorates, creating some top of the line accommodations. His son, the current owner, is magic in the kitchen. I’ve had a very good experience here and we’ll definitely return.
