The breakfast buffet had a nice range of choices, with something for everyone. I was there for one night on a hiking trip. My room was clean and spacious, with a very nice shower, and I liked relaxing on the balcony. I didn't try the restaurant.

We visited recently and came away very disappointed with the food. It was cheap and disgusting, far below an acceptable standard. The service was friendly, and everything was "kein Problem," but that didn't help. Since 19 September 2023, the hotel has been under new ownership, after being bought by a 21 year old. It used to be an excellent place to dine, with a buffet that was legendary far and wide. I recommend avoiding the restaurant. It's the worst in Blumberg, in my view, and nothing like its former glory, which is what the high Google review score was based on.

The staff were fantastic, and breakfast was great. We had a spacious room with a balcony. The dinner buffet was okay, though the spätzle was very dry. The street outside is busy, but it gets quieter at night.

Dinner was delicious, and the owners and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good too. The Main Street made things a little loud, but the noise died down in time to sleep. I'd definitely go again.

Our evening meal was generous and delicious. The staff were super friendly, and the room was comfortable, if a little old fashioned.
