The extra offerings were a big part of the stay: the activ-card includes admission to various attractions, and the "guti" voucher provides, among other things, free train travel in the region. There was also a "sound bowl meditation," a guided tour of the Silberberg mine with entry once a day, and a glassmaking introduction in the house where you can make your own beads. The owners have a small "glassworks" there. A bread delivery service is available on request, and the hostess can be contacted directly for the best rates. The "atelier" has a living and dining area, small hallway, fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a tub and shower screen, a small window, and ventilation. Upstairs there's a desk, bed, and separate lounge area. You can step straight into the garden, where guests are invited to pick ripe raspberries, and there's a terrace too. It all made for a relaxing wellness-style stay in a beautiful setting, starting with an exceptionally warm welcome from the hostess.

A well-kept holiday apartment, and one I'd gladly recommend.
