Villa Bernstein

The apartment has perfectly adequate furnishings, but I wouldn't book it again. The courtyard terrace is right beside the building entrance, so we couldn't use it. It was also far too hot inside. There was no way to ventilate it, and the heat was unbearable at night.

It's a lovely apartment with a partial sea view. The only reason I'm taking off a point is that it could have been cleaner: there were limescale marks on the shower wall and tap. Otherwise, it's a top-notch place.

We had a wonderful holiday in Bernsteinvilla Penthouse 24 with our mother and three siblings. The apartment is a dream, lovingly furnished, and the sea view is fantastic. A regular table on the terrace for outdoor breakfasts and a light above the dining table would make it even better. We'd happily come back again and again. Thanks so much.

The location near the beach was good, and there are restaurants, a bakery, and an ice cream parlor close by. Apartments facing the Baltic Sea or the street may be a better choice. We stayed in Apartment 26. It was clean and tidy when we arrived, but it faces the courtyard and the building's main entrance, which wasn't clear when we booked. The entrance light stayed on all night, and the blackout curtains didn't close all the way, so sleeping was difficult. There's no air conditioning either, and the apartment stayed too warm even though it wasn't very hot outside.
