Baltischer Hof Apartment 12

The apartment was so cozy, and the shower was my favorite part. I was on the ground floor and even had a view of the lake. I came to get a few peaceful days away from the city, and Baltischer Hof was just right for that. The location is handy too, only a few steps from the beach and the city center, and close to my favorite fish restaurant and shop, „der Fischer und sin fruh“. Bring a good book and shoes for long beach walks if you’re after a weekend by the sea. I couldn’t have asked for more from my time in Boltenhagen.

This was our fourth visit, and we’re always happy to come back. The apartments are modern, clean, and fantastic, and the reception staff are very friendly. Dogs are welcome, underground parking is included, and there’s a sauna in the building. You can use the washing machine and dryer for free, just bring your own detergent. Restaurants, Aldi, bakeries, and everything else are within walking distance. The pier is about 350 meters away, and across the street the beach promenade takes you straight to the beach. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

We won’t be booking at Baltischer Hof again. The room was quite nice, and having Wenzel Restaurant on the ground floor was a real bonus, but the way my lost headphones were handled put us off for good. I’d stayed here before. After leaving the headphones behind at checkout this year, I called three days later to ask whether housekeeping had found anything. They had. When I asked what it would cost to mail them to me, I was charged almost 28 euros. They sent them in a cardboard box meant for construction lights and called that “compensation.” As a guest, I found that ridiculous. Customer service clearly seems to be a very low priority here. Goodbye forever.

We’ll definitely return after our five-day break in Apartment No. 30. The apartment was modern and very comfortable, with underfloor heating, a large bathroom with a rain shower, and a spacious bedroom. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the wellness area and sauna are in the building. Our car was secure in the underground garage, and the elevator went straight to Apartment No. 30. We also ate at the hotel's own restaurant, the Bohemian Wenzel. The food was excellent, and the Bohemian beer went perfectly with it. The beach is just across the street. Our whole stay in Boltenhagen was exceptional. 100% recommended.
