Definitely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There are wires sticking out of the wall, and the paint, doors, and furniture are damaged. The carpet and decor look very old, and the radiators seem ready to fall off the wall. They don’t heat, either. The reception and downstairs look vandalized, though apparently that’s just how it normally is. Beware!

The corridors have worn old carpets and damaged walls, and the hotel is in very poor shape. Our first room was awful: peeling paint, battered walls, nothing in it except the beds, and a shower cubicle full of mold. They moved us to a much better room, but the mattress still had large yellow stains along its side. I don’t recommend this hotel.

There was renovation work going on, but the hotel was still calm and quiet, which pleasantly surprised us. I stayed here with my husband this weekend. Reception service was friendly, professional, and good.

The chipped paint makes the room look shabby, and the black paint idea just doesn’t work. The art deco look they were going for feels kind of creepy, and I didn’t rest well. The fridge and shower are broken, and the bathroom vent looks like it’s never been cleaned. Sorry guys, the rooms need to be kept nicer.

I booked for one night, then ended up working at reception afterward. Noah at the front desk was so kind, and I really love the place. The hotel is gorgeous.
