Garten Hotel Bonn

The room already had plenty of insects when I checked in, and the balcony doors had been left open in September. The bigger problem was the service. If you arrive late, they don't contact you with instructions, so without German or the ability to make calls, getting your key could be impossible. I nearly got stuck myself, and only a kind German woman helped me. Staff were rude and arrogant, acted as if finding the key was the guest's job, never apologized for the terrible process, and didn't reply to emails. I would never stay here again.

The bed was really comfortable, and the room was just the right size. Everything was super clean, and all the hotel staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. I loved my stay.

It made a great base on the east side of the river, and there was space to park the car. The room was large and clean, though fairly basic. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We only had one night here, and both wished we could have stayed longer. The service was fantastic and the hotel was amazing. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
