The manageress was kind, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel is affordable and central, with snug rooms, but the bed was very comfortable and the night was super quiet. I’d recommend it as long as you’re not expecting a Radisson. It’s functional, more than fancy.

Breakfast was delicious and simple, with lovely rolls and bread, plenty of jams, different teas, and excellent coffee. There’s also a sunny patio at the back with comfortable chairs for relaxing. My room faced the back and was really quiet, with two large windows and plenty of space. The bathroom had two sinks and a lovely shower. The shower door needs replacing, but it still works. Highly recommended.

The friendly staff are a big plus. My single room was clean, compact, and old-fashioned. It was on the garden side, which was really nice despite the hotel being next to a big road.

Bonn’s history is presented in an interesting way on the walls, especially in the breakfast room. The rooms are nice, and the bathrooms are large and fully equipped. Breakfast is simple but good.

A small hotel with character, helpful staff, and special rooms. Historical newspapers and photos from the postwar era decorate the rooms, hallways, and breakfast room. Breakfast was good, and the outdoor terrace was a nice place to lounge. The train station, Beethoven Haus, town square, and shops are all within walking distance.
