The breakfast was basic but reasonable. The table in my room was wide and nice, though there were only three hangers and no drawers, which was too little for a five-night stay. Twice out of the five nights, the room wasn't made up even though I'd left the sign asking for it. I also found quite a large spider in the room. I was on the top floor, where the air didn't circulate very well. Sound insulation wasn't great either, but there are only a few rooms, so there wasn't much noise.

The rooms were spotless and very quiet, and breakfast was really nice with plenty to eat. It's about a ten-minute walk into town. The bathroom could have been a little bigger, but it was alright. There are only four parking spaces at the hotel, which is a downside, though underground parking a short distance away costs €10 a night. I might have rated it five, but reception was a bit rude at check-in. At breakfast, when I asked if they could make coffee with a proper coffee machine, the response was, "We spend €30000 on the machine in the breakfast room, so there is no filter coffee." Would I stay again? I don't know.

The room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed and a nice, large shower. The hotel is fairly close to the city center, and has four free parking spots out front as well as a parking garage for €10. But we were charged for parking even though we ended up using one of the free spaces. The room was dusty, with hairs on the towels and a strange stain on the bed linen. Breakfast was limited and served until 10:30. At 10:25, the receptionist told us to leave the breakfast room immediately instead of letting us finish. When we checked out at 11, the breakfast leftovers were still there, so I didn't understand the rush. The receptionist was very rude during both check-in and breakfast. It was an okay one-night stay, but that attitude doesn't make me want to return.

Breakfast choices are limited, but what they do offer tastes great. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect, close to the central train station and Bonn's main attractions. The rooms are very small for the price. Even a Japanese business hotel had more space, and the furniture looks old.
