Motel One Bonn-Beethoven

Beethoven’s House and the nearby Beethoven shop are easy to reach from Motel One Beethoven, and the hotel is right in central Bonn, with cafés and little shops close by. I liked the welcoming, stylish entrance and the cozy breakfast and lounge spaces. My room was compact, but clean, comfortable, and laid out well for a short visit. A pleasant place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the city.

The room was spotless and nicely decorated, and the staff were professional and really friendly. I had a wonderful stay at One Bonn-Beethoven Hotel and would come back. I did wish breakfast had a little more variety for different tastes.

The location and branding are good, and the rooms are clean. That’s about where the positives end for me. There’s no refrigerator or intercom, so every question means walking down to reception. I wouldn’t choose it with a baby. If you don’t speak German, you may find the experience frustrating. Only one staff member seemed to show the level of care you’d expect in hospitality. Fine if all you need is a clean room to sleep in.

For a good night’s sleep before a busy day, this place works really well. The mattresses are new, the air feels fresh, and street noise is well blocked out 👌
