Hotel zum Adler

The WiFi was fast and the staff were friendly, but parking isn't available. The rooms were clean and quiet, with a decent bed, though small and worn, and they look like they date from the 90s. They need renovation. Breakfast was average for both range and quality. The hotel is well placed in the city centre, beside shops and a park, and within walking distance of the station. At 110-120€ a night with breakfast, the rate felt far too high.

The underground parking is small, with its entrance a few metres from the main entrance, and a lift connects it to the hotel. The exterior wasn't very appealing, so the stay was a pleasant surprise. Our room, 323, felt almost new and had a modern bathroom. I especially liked having a radio in there. Everything was clean, service was good, and breakfast had enough choice. The price felt justified.

There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, and it was delicious. The hotel's very central location was another thing I loved. My room had all the basics, including shampoo, shower gel, lotion, earbuds, and cotton pads. You can ask to have an iron and ironing board brought up. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the radio in the bathroom was a lovely surprise that made my mornings brighter. I'd definitely recommend it and would love to come back.

It's a little pricey, though the location is great. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the service was friendly. The room itself is tiny, barely enough space to open a suitcase, and the bed is small. You may want to ask for another pillow, since the ones provided are very thin.
