The television and Wi-Fi never worked during our stay, which was really frustrating. The landlady lives in the village but was unwilling or unable to fix anything. She missed an appointment without explanation, even though we had extended our stay specifically for it, and after that we couldn’t reach her. Our messages went unanswered. The listing advertised two bedrooms, but there was just one, plus a 140x200 cm double bed in the living room, screened off by a small bookshelf. That’s unacceptable. The house has been renovated and looks nicely furnished at first, but the kitchen was very sparsely equipped. There were no sharp knives or garbage bags, and the only dish sponge was dirty and clearly had been used for a while.

We won’t be back. The landlady agreed by text that the lack of Wi-Fi was a shame, while saying she had checked everything beforehand. That didn’t help us, though. She said no one was available to restart it and suggested it might come back on its own. It never did. The remote batteries were dead, so we couldn’t use the TV, and since it was Sunday we couldn’t get replacements ourselves. The next day was a holiday, and despite promising to bring batteries, she didn’t show up or send a message. We checked out anonymously using the key box and left. The apartment had been recently renovated, was clean, and was in good condition. At our request the landlady added an armchair, but the couch and regular chairs were rather limited for four people. As of December 30, 2023, the website description said there were two bedrooms, but it was actually one bedroom and a double bed in the living area. At €140 a night, that felt like a bit of a rip-off.
